Bro Care provides male-focused disability support for young men aged 8–25 — built around mentorship, real connection, and the kind of bond you get from an older brother.
Bro Care is a small, independent disability support service built on a simple idea: young men thrive when they've got someone in their corner who gets it. Our approach is designed to feel like hanging out with an older brother — professional, but warm and real.
We support young males aged 8 to 25 living with mental health conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and neurological or physical conditions including CP, MS, Parkinson's, epilepsy, and MND.
In a defining moment for Bro Care, our friend and business partner Max presented at the University of Queensland to third-year exercise physiology and exercise science students — teaching them how to communicate effectively with someone who is nonverbal.
After months of preparing together, we co-presented side by side. It was Max's first step toward his biggest life goal: securing paid employment. That's the real work of Bro Care — not just support, but genuine partnership that opens doors.
Positive male role models who lead by example.
Building life skills that stick, one day at a time.
Real relationships, not just scheduled appointments.
Fun, engaging activities that build confidence.
Every service is delivered one-to-one by a trained male support worker, shaped around the participant's goals.
Once a month, every Bro Care participant is invited to our Social Day — a group catch-up facilitated by our team where the guys can hang out, meet each other, and just be themselves.
It's more than a scheduled activity. For many of our participants, it's the first time they've belonged to a group of young men who genuinely get where they're coming from. That's the point — friendship, fun, and a sense of crew.
We accept NDIS participants on the following funding arrangements. Get in touch for a friendly chat about rates and what works best for your plan.
Whether you're a parent, a Support Coordinator, or a participant yourself — we'd love to hear from you. Reach out and we'll get back to you within a day.
